December 04, 2024 – (SeaPRwire) – Leo Wang, Chairman and Founder of Leo International Group, continues to redefine leadership by balancing business profitability with a deep sense of social responsibility. In a recent interview titled A Century-Old Business’s DNA Must Be Etched with Empathy for the World, according to a report currently published by《The Icons》, Wang shared his vision for a united, harmonious world where successful enterprises integrate resources to create meaningful change.
“From a business leader’s perspective, I believe that success isn’t just about survival or pursuing profit,” Wang explained. “More importantly, it’s about empowering and giving back to society through the positive influence of both the business and the individual. Every enterprise has its unique strengths, and each entrepreneur specializes in their own field. If you can make society better because of your efforts, then you are a true leader.”
Leo Wang attributes much of his philosophy to his mother, whose transformative journey from a top-performing life insurance executive to a full-time philanthropist left an indelible mark on him. “My mother transitioned from being a high-ranking executive to dedicating herself to charity work overnight. I witnessed countless people seeking her guidance to overcome challenges and find new goals in life,” Wang recalled.
At the height of her career, Wang’s mother chose to leave her flourishing profession to focus on public service, influencing others to engage in charitable activities. Her work ranged from providing scholarships for underprivileged students to donating ambulances to fire stations for emergency rescue operations. “Her devotion was ingrained in me from a young age,” Wang noted. “I learned that true business leaders not only achieve professional success but also have a mission to make the world a better place. It’s about social responsibility.”
In honor of her legacy, Leo International actively supports the Chinese Children Home & Shelter Association (CCSA). “There are so many people in the world who need help. As long as you have the heart, you can create meaning in both your life and the lives of others. I hope more businesses will join us in these efforts,” Wang said.
Recognizing the rising demand for health and wellness services, Leo Wang spearheaded the establishment of major healthcare facilities in Taiwan and beyond in 2024. Six cities – Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung – have been selected as sites for Regenerative Medicine Centers, International Anti-Aging Centers, and Health Insurance & Aesthetic Composite Clinics. These facilities aim to provide comprehensive healthcare and premium anti-aging services.
In May 2024, Leo International partnered with Malaysia’s Southeast Transport Group to develop two private yacht marinas in Johor Bahru. The development includes a 20-story luxury yacht club and a five-star hotel complex, expanding the group’s presence in Singapore and Southeast Asia’s health and marine sports markets. Additionally, in late 2024, the group established its headquarters at the Shanghai International Financial Center. Plans are in motion to launch high-end wellness services in early 2025, integrating advanced medical technologies and luxury services. These initiatives align with the company’s vision of “Healthy Living, Exciting Lives,” combining healthcare innovation with a diverse portfolio of premium services.
Additionally, Leo International’s Shanghai headquarters was established at the Shanghai International Financial Center (Shanghai IFC) in the third quarter of 2024. Plans are underway to introduce international high-end wellness services in early 2025, incorporating advanced medical technologies and healthcare systems from renowned international medical centers. The group will combine these services with its portfolio of 1,000 international luxury products, 100 brands, and services spanning 10 sectors: premium anti-aging, leisure and entertainment, asset management, resort dining, yachting and equestrian services, private aviation, and fine arts. This aligns with their vision of promoting “Healthy Living, Exciting Lives.”
Wang’s leadership approach is also deeply inspired by Peter Drucker, the father of modern management. “Learning from the past to guide the future, there have been countless iconic entrepreneurs in history. Peter Drucker’s vision transcends time, and I greatly admire his expansive perspective, particularly his ‘people-centered’ philosophy in business,” Wang shared. This philosophy underpins Leo International’s strategy of integrating international resources. Since its founding in 2016, the company has built the “Asian Elite” alliance, offering unparalleled luxury services across Asia. Key achievements include representing eight yacht brands, three equestrian clubs, ten supercar brands, hosting six art expos, and managing access to 250 golf courses. The group also provides exclusive membership benefits for 4,600 private jets across 300 cities and 5,000 luxury hotels.
“I am deeply invested in the health and wellness industry,” Wang said. “By continually investing in and acquiring outstanding companies, I aim to empower these businesses with more resources, creating higher value and ultimately achieving a vision of health for all.”
With plans to list on the NASDAQ within 30 months, Leo International Group continues to forge a path that balances business excellence with social impact. Under Wang’s leadership, the group exemplifies a modern approach to entrepreneurship: achieving profitability while making the world a better place.
